Following the article on http://mydebian.blogdns.org/?p=148 to setup SSH onto a local virtual machine, I got the following error message when tried to start the machine :

Configuration error: Failed to get the "MAC" value.
VBox status code: -2103 (VERR_CFGM_VALUE_NOT_FOUND).

Just update the network device name "PCNET" and restart the machine. it'll work.
